Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Contractorsly web and mobile applications (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Contractorsly is headquartered in Franklin Township, New Jersey, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

2. Financial Transactions & Stripe Connect

Contractorsly facilitates payments between you (the Contractor) and your clients via integration with Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By utilizing our payment features, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Contractorsly acts as a technology provider and does not hold, process, or transmit your funds directly. Any disputes regarding chargebacks, insufficient funds, or client refunds must be handled directly between you and your client through your Stripe dashboard.

3. Subscription Fees and 120-Day Guarantee

Contractorsly offers subscriptions on a monthly or annual basis. For eligible accounts participating in our promotional launch, we offer a 120-Day Money-Back Guarantee. To invoke this guarantee, you must contact support within 120 days of your initial purchase date. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Following the 120-day period, all subscription fees are non-refundable.

4. AI & Third-Party APIs

The Service utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (via OpenAI) to parse blueprints, transcribe voice logs, and generate estimates. While we strive for accuracy, Contractorsly does not guarantee the mathematical or structural accuracy of any AI-generated estimate. You are solely responsible for reviewing all line items, material quantities, markups, and final prices before sending proposals to your clients.

5. Account Security & Multi-Tenancy

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. As the "Owner" of your organization account, you are responsible for managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions for your field crew and back-office staff. Contractorsly is not liable for data breaches resulting from unauthorized access shared by your team members.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To provide our Service, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Data: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and company details of your team members.
• Client Data: Names, addresses, and contact info of the clients you enter into our CRM.
• Device & Location Data:When field crew members use our mobile application, we may collect GPS location data (Lat/Long) strictly at the moment they click "Clock In," "Clock Out," or "Submit Voice Log." We do not continuously track background location.
• Audio & Media Data: Voice recordings and site photos uploaded to the app for the purpose of generating daily reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly to operate the Contractorsly software. We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third-party data brokers, marketing agencies, or competitors.

• Voice/Image Processing: Audio files and images are securely transmitted via API to OpenAI strictly for transcription and data parsing. They are not used to train global public AI models.
• Financial Routing:Banking and identity information is securely passed directly to Stripe. Contractorsly does not store your full bank account numbers or your clients' credit card numbers on our servers.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your project data, estimates, and photos for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, you may request a complete deletion of your organization's database records by emailing our support team. Please note that data required for tax and legal compliance (such as payment receipts) may be retained by our payment processors.

4. Data Security

Contractorsly employs enterprise-grade security, including data-at-rest encryption (via PostgreSQL/Prisma) and secure tokenized authentication. Our multi-tenant architecture ensures that your data is strictly isolated from other contractors on the platform.
